Botox® is in the class of neuromodulators for cosmetic injectable products. This means that the active ingredient (botulinum toxin) temporarily relaxes facial muscles that squeeze the skin to form wrinkles around the eyes and forehead. DermaTouch RN also uses Botox® injections to treat TMJ. The treatment works in much the same way by relaxing muscles that cause pain in the temporomandibular joint.

Botox® is recommended for the treatment of:

Botox® treatment is injected directly into the muscles that cause your wrinkles. Forehead wrinkles and lines between the eyes are treated with five injections of Botox®. Crow’s feet typically require three injections. While the treatment is relatively painless, a topical anesthetic can be used.

Botox® Cosmetic requires no downtime. You may have some localized swelling and tenderness at the injection site. These symptoms generally last less than three days.

Juvéderm® is a hyaluronic acid facial filler that adds volume to the skin, helping to soften moderate to severe facial wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in your skin and works by attracting water to restore volume in areas that have become sunken or hollow over time. As you age, the skin produces less hyaluronic acid, which contributes to the formation of wrinkles. Mobile Medtox offers a range of products from the Juvéderm® family to address these concerns.

Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC is recommended for moderate to severe wrinkles in the face. This is the most widely used product in the Juvéderm® family. Juvederm Ultra XC injectable gel results may last up to one year.

Juvéderm® Volbella® is recommended for men and women with naturally thin lips or lips that have lost volume due to aging. The facial filler is also helpful for vertical lip lines. The lip augmentation results may last up to 12 months.

Juvéderm® Voluma® is a hyaluronic cheek filler. This filler is recommended to add volume to hollows in the cheeks or to add definition to the apples of your cheeks. The results may last up to two years.

Juvéderm® Vollure™ is recommended for more severe lines and wrinkles in the lower face, such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines. These may also be known as laugh lines or parentheses on the face. The facial injections may last up to 18 months.
